Cups are for life not just for lunch!

Good afternoon everyone! I've decided that today is going to be about an item that is essential in my everyday life. If you know me you'll see it with me every single day, I never leave the house without it. Of course I'm talking about my reusable coffee cup. This amazing creation allows me to get any hot drink I'd like without having to use paper cups provided by coffee companies. It's a great way to start a zero waste journey. As previously said in my introduction post, this is what really kicked off my own journey. I am an avid coffee drinker and can't go a day without having at least two cups and this is why the cup is so good. It allows me to continue my obsession with coffee whilst also reducing my impact on the environment. As well as that, I have found that in some places its been cheaper because I had my own cup! I really recommend them to people who get hot drinks when they are out and about.

My coffee cup is from a company called Ecoffee cup. They make their cups out of biodegradable materials so if the cup breaks or needs replacing, it can be sent back to the company to be properly composted. This also includes the rubber parts which can be recycled.

When I thought about it on a larger scale and about how many coffee cups I would have use if I didn't have my cup and it really blew my mind. It also made me realize how easy it is to cut down on unnecessary waste. It's been so uplifting, especially in recent months, seeing more and more people with reusable cups. Whenever I see people walking in the street with them and put a massive smile on my face. I really hope that these cups become more popular on a global scale so we can all say good bye to paper coffee cups for good.
