Sorry for the wait! It's been a while since I posted. College has been keeping me super busy lately but I've managed to finally find some time for today :)

On that note, I thought I could do a little update on my investigation on collecting micro plastics. If you remember, I did a post a while ago on synthetic fibers that are removed from clothes when they are washed. Since my original post, I have continuously used the guppy bag to collect the fibers from my washes and have definitely been shocked by how much can come from just one wash. By gathering it all into one jar, I have been able to put it into perspective and see just how much micro plastic comes from our clothes when we clean them.

On a positive side, it has definitely encouraged me to do more washing at home which my mum is certainly happy about.

I'll let you guys know where I am at as time goes on and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask via my blog or Instagram :)

If you haven't read my previous post on micro plastics then feel free to check it out since it will give you a little more context to this story.

Thanks for reading and see you guys soon!

An up to date photo of my synthetic fibers jar plus my cat Beata who refused to not be in the photo
